This is some prime zero right here. Otto Rice's master isn't here on archive yet but recently (March 2018) got posted to bt.etree.org, which is not to malign this wonderful source.
This show starts out strong with Baby Baby and then hits true liftoff during the later half of Nancy Germany. The strong opener grows into a truly wonderful show by Rigor Mortis > Golden Road. It gets even better from there.
This tape is a prime example of how great Zero was at the time. At the end of Baby Baby, Martin notes that Zero considered New George's their home base (and lands a few good 'Chut Ups).
Kind show. Enjoy.

It happens during It's Up to You. It's incorrectly labeled as End of the World Blues. Most of the songs are incorrectly labeled.
This was the 5th anniversary of John Cipollina's death and it sounds to me like Steve was trying to do him proud.

The audio quality isn't perfect, but this is a mighty nice listen. Mercury Blues is strangely laid back. Don't Spare the Horses is a great song, and it's a shame it didn't last in the repertoire. Great early version of IUTY, as well, with some fun melodic explorations.

Subject: bass distortion
sounds like there is a considerable amount of low end distortion/overloading on this one.
Only listened to the 1st couple tracks so far, nice playing but the distortion is distracting from an otherwise nice recording and show.
I don't like to be too picky but I think my standards are high for Kimock recordings since they are generally of such high quality.
The Baby Baby is soaring, killer chit!
ok, been listening to more, maybe my ears are adjusting, it does not bother me as much. Hot show!
